Altar Guild
The Altar Guild lovingly serves our church in many ways to make sure our worship space is prepared for worship. They take care of the altar decorations and linens, keep the communion vessels in good condition, and handle preparation and clean-up for communion services. They also provide baptismal napkins, wash the robes for Elders and Acolytes, take care of the U.S. and Christian flags, arrange flowers, and change bulbs in the candelabras. Sunday School
St. Luke dedicates one hour every Sunday to partner with parents in assisting to teach the basics of the faith to their children. From 9:15-10:15 AM, children will engage in age-appropriate learning material to grow in their knowledge of the faith and how to practice what they believe. Be part of shaping a young child’s faith by assisting in teaching, leading a lesson, or being a helping hand. Contact Beth Koegler for more information at 724-355-9952
Kids Club

Servant Day
Usually taking place in the fall, Servant Day is a day of serving that brings congregation members together for a common purpose – serving others to glorify our Lord. St. Luke Servant Day is a day in which items are made for area missions (tying blankets, preparing dry soup mix, making greeting cards for the military, framing houses, etc…) Servant Day may take you off campus to lend a hand at area missions. It’s one day to put aside your schedule and activities and join us at St. Luke to reach out and serve others.
Contact the church office 724-352-2777 for more information.
Card Ministry
Since 1984, St. Luke has supported a quiet, but caring ministry made up of devoted people who reach out with encouraging notes and cards. These faithful followers share Christ’s love with others at eventful times in their lives, including births, baptisms, weddings, anniversaries, confirmations, church membership, graduations, birthdays, hospitalizations, convalescence, being homebound, and deaths. If you would like to serve from your home in this ministry, please contact Debbie Greenawalt 724-282-0355
Funeral Dinners
People who serve in the ministry of Funeral Dinners offer comfort and show the love of Jesus to families and friends who are mourning the death of a loved one by preparing and serving a meal following the funeral service. Contact Darlene Garcia 724-841-7697.
Weed ‘N Feed
A group of dedicated helpers plant flowers, weed the flower beds weekly, and occasionally prune the shrubs on the church property to beautify the church grounds with God’s glorious creations.
